Wretches and Jabberers

This is a documentary film about two non-vocal autistic main characters, Tracy Thresher and Larry Bissonnette, traveling to Sri Lanka, Japan, and Finland for a global quest to change the attitude of people toward disability and refreshing the image of autism to the public. Their monumental encounters with local autistic people who also use technology to communicate and their life-stories about the struggles and achievements offer a great glimpse into the abilities of those who may look “severely disabled”. By the end of the film, you will realize we are all “more alike than different.”
