Pocket Neighborhoods

Ross Chapin is an architect and a visionary who believes we must increase ‘social capitol’ and that intentionally designed neighborhoods with modest homes and a common house are the way of the future. This book explains how structure begets belonging and relationship when designing ‘for people not for cars’.

Although this resource was created for a neurotypical audience, the awareness of the need to age-in-place and be interdependent with neighbors parallels designing communities intentionally created for people with and without disabilities.
