BUILT-IN ACCESSIBILITY: UNLEASHING EMPLOYMENT POTENTIAL IN ADULTS WITH AUTISM

This is a blog post written in order to give an identity-first perspective and look into accessibility in the workplace.  This post focuses on and provides insight into the struggles that autistic individuals often face when searching for or earning employment, while also addressing movement and physical aspects, sensory, architecture, communication, and agency/autonomy in the workplace. This post influences forward thinking of “creating” jobs vs. “getting” jobs in order to influence creative adaptation to neurological diversity.
