Do you have any advice for students on the spectrum when they begin to feel lonely or isolated in college? Do you have suggestions for students with ASD on how to  initiate and maintain relationships in college?

If you are a person of faith or even just exploring, there are many college faith communities / clubs that hold weekly events and gatherings. I met some friends on the spectrum at the Wesley (Methodist) campus ministry when I was in college.  There are also other campus clubs that are created to serve a variety of interests- go to your student center and ask for a list of clubs. If there are any that match your interests- request to join their next meeting!
