New Danville is located on a 42-acre, ranch-like campus in Willis, north of Houston. It provides various services and programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and those who need similar services.
Affordable housing for independent living. While currently at capacity (34) with a waiting list, infrastructure development will begin in 2023 to build additional homes that will allow us to add 35-47 new residents.
Individualized Socialization and Skills (formerly known as Day Habilitation) offers a variety of classes and off-site activities to empower clients (known as Wranglers) to live, learn, work and grow to their potential. Classes range from animal therapy to art, baking to "Blushing Beauty" (create makeup and beauty products), crochet to computer skills, games to gardening, and dozens more.
The Job Readiness and Support Program provides opportunities for clients to work on-site in various roles: production of products (woodwork, bath and beauty, pens and more), pallet assembly, custodial, grounds maintenance, and more. Transportation is offered for clients who have jobs offsite, in the nearby community.
